Vivian (McCoy) Coller Obituary

Vivian M. Coller, age 96 years, of Reading, passed away Thursday, February 4th, at her residence.


Vivian was born in Reading on September 7, 1919, a daughter of the late Myrtle I. (Kline) and Chester E. McCoy. She was the wife of over 70 years of Earl R. Coller, of Reading.


She was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School and was employed as an examiner at the former Berkshire Knitting Mills, Reading.


Vivian was a member of over 50 years of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading, and was a member of the Mother's Club at 13th and Union Elementary School for 11 years.


She enjoyed camping at Locust Lake, Schuylkill County, and traveling across the country many times with her husband.


She is survived by her son, Gary, widower of Bonnie Coller, of West Lawn; daughter, Dale, wife of John Weitzel, of Stony Creek; and son, Scot M., husband of Denise Coller, of Fort Lauderdale.


She is also survived by four grandchildren: Derek, husband of Vikki Coller, of Lake Stevens, Washington; Wendy Howe, of Colorado Springs, CO; Lauren Coller, of Ft. Lauderdale; and Austin Coller, of Ft. Lauderdale; and three great-grandchildren; Orion and Saxon Coller, of Lake Stevens, WA, and Mackenzie Howe, of Clearwater, FL.


Memorial service to be announced.


In memory of Vivian's love for pets, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540, or the Humane Society, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, PA 19604.
