Ronald Francis Potzinger, 72, of Reading, PA, passed away on December 5th, at Mountainview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township, PA. 

Ronald was born in Reading, PA on June 16, 1945, a son of the late Ethel I (Mitchell) and Francis W. Potzinger.

Ronald served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.  He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2010 after 30 years. 

Ronald was the beloved husband of Donnalee (Grose) Kaucher, loving and devoted father of Shawn Michael Potzinger and his wife Alexis Bryant of Chicago, IL, Step-father of Sheila O'Reilly and her husband Thomas of Shamokin, PA, Sherry Rhoads of Reading, PA, and Shawn Edward Kaucher and his wife Donelle of West Reading, PA, Proud grandfather of Jorden Ashley Kaucher, Gabriel Michael Kaucher both of Shamokin, PA, Matthew Scott Kaucher of Reading, PA, Elyssa Kaucher of West Reading, PA and Arieanna Corolla of Reading, PA, Nephew of Shirley Schweitzer of Shillington, PA, also survived by nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 13th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at John P. Feeney Funeral Home, 625 N. 4th Street, Reading, PA, where a prayer service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 14th.  Graveside services with military honors will be at 2:00pm at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
