Robert P. Nally born on June 2, 1955, in Reading PA, passed away peacefully at the Reading Hospital on January 5, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Vincent and Mary (Thurow) Nally. A proud graduate of Holy Name Highschool class of 1973. Bob had his own business as a carpet installer in his younger years and then went on to be a supervisor at Americold Logistics where he worked for over 20 years. After retiring he picked up a job with his daughter at Spark Orthodontics where he was loved by everyone. Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Christine MacBride and her spouse, Phillip MacBride of Shoemakersville, and his stepson, William Colona Nally. Bob is also survived by his granddaughter, Karly MacBride, who was the light of his life.
Robert is also survived by his loving brothers and sister who surrounded him with so much love and support. Sister, Cathy Nally IHM, Patrick Nally and spouse, Denise Nally, Thomas Nally, Micheal Nally and his partner, Wanda Baker and Vincent Nally and spouse, Karen Nally. He also had very loving nieces and nephews who he was lucky to have in his life.
Bob loved to watch all kinds of sports. He was a huge fan of Notre Dame and the Eagles! Whenever he was driving he would be listening to his favorite Motown music. Bob loved to golf with his brothers and socialize with his buddies. Bob had a large circle of friends, and he was very blessed to have such wonderful friendships. But his favorite role was being a Pop Pop and he was the best one there was. He never failed on his nightly phone calls and McDonald's runs. Bob was one of the kindest, most hardworking men you will meet and he will be loved and missed by many people.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be Saturday, February 8th from 12 to 3 pm at PJ Whelihan's 1101 Rocky Dr., West Lawn.
