Robert J. (Bob) Denbowski, Sr., 67, formerly of Reading, passed away while in the loving company of his family on Thursday, March 18th, at Fairlane Gardens, Exeter Township, after a long illness.
Robert was born in Reading, PA, on February 25, 1954, a son of the late Frank B. Denbowski, Sr. and Salome (Constantine) Denbowski. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Reading, PA.
He was the husband of Lucy A (Loeper) Denbowski who survives him. They were married for 45 years. He was a devoted husband and father. As a "DAD" he showed us the importance of family and instilled in his children the value of doing what is right, not what is easy.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church West Reading, PA, and was employed as a Life Insurance agent for many years.
In addition to his wife, Lucy, Robert is survived by two sons: Frank B., husband of Raquel (Ruiz) of Reading, PA; and Robert J. Jr. of West Reading, PA, along with two daughters: Stephanie J. of Shillington, PA, and Vanessa C. of West Lawn.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Nicolette, Francisco, Josiah, Romeo, Gabriel, and one due to arrive in July. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank B. Denbowski, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 10 AM at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in West Reading, PA. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery Laureldale, PA.
