Reri Russek Obituary

Reri Muniz Russek, 91, passed away Friday, September 27th, at Country Meadows of Wyomissing. 

 

Born in Guantanamo City, Cuba on February 14, 1933, Reri was one of six children of the late Teresa (Cortes) and Eladio Muniz. Reri was predeceased by her three sisters, Irma, Ester, and Roxana, and two brothers, Hilario and Francisco.

 

Reri was the widow of Joseph Russek, Sr. and most proud of supporting his 30-year Naval military career, as well as performing as a singer in the Joe Russek Band. She is survived by her five children, Joseph Russek, Jr. of Temple, TX, Jeff Russek of North Fort Myers, FL, Howard Russek of Ocala, FL, Brenda Stanislaw of Wyomissing, PA, Theresa Facenda of Sparta, GA, and six grandchildren, Joseph III, Jennifer, Nicholas, Kate, Phillip, Rachel, and predeceased by three grandchildren, Jayme, Johnny, and Nicole. She is also survived by six great grandchildren. 

Reri was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, PA. Services are private at the convenience of family.
