Rachel Sanders Obituary

Rachel Virginia (Bare) Sanders, 84, of Reading passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2024, at the Sinking Spring Skilled and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife

of Robert C. Sanders for 56 years, before his passing on November 3, 2015. Born in Reading, Rachel was the daughter of the late Russel and Elizabeth (Woodworth) Bare. She was formerly

employed by Hope Hosiery (Adamstown), Narrow Fabric industries (Reading) and as a waitress at various restaurants until her retirement. She loved nature and watching wildlife. Rachel is survived by four children, Kim M. Miller of Ephrata, Darlene K. wife of Dean Harting of Reinholds, Fay A. wife of Randy Snavely of Stevens and Robert R. Sanders, Husband of Kimberly (Sechrist) Sanders of Sinking Spring, her 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Rachel is predeceased by a son, Richard J. Abraham, granddaughter, Tara L. Harting and Grandson, Chase T. Miller.

Services for Rachel will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
