Kenneth MacKenzie Thompson, 92, of Mifflin Court, Shillington, formerly of Cumru Twp., died February 11, 2023. Mr. Thompson was the son of the late Freda (Hoover) and Kenneth MacPherson Thompson. He was married for more than 58 years to the late Evelyn (Petersen) Thompson.
Mr. Thompson was a graduate of Shillington High School and attended Albright College. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Coolbaugh during the Korean War. Mr. Thompson enjoyed a long career in electrical engineering on hundreds of projects locally and nationwide.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; his son, Keith A. Thompson and his granddaughter, Diana L. Thompson. Surviving are his sons, Kenneth M. (Jude) Thompson Jr. of KY and Kevin A. (Lucia) Thompson of NJ; daughter, Christina (William) Seidel, of Shillington, nine grandchildren, Tara (Dr. Joseph) Weistroffer; Kenneth M. (Lisa) Thompson III; Michael (Lindsay) Thompson; Jordan (Katlusca) Pineiro; Joshua Pineiro; Brandon (Kelsey) Seidel; Sarah Navarro; Sam Thompson; Paige Thompson and eleven great grandchildren. 

Interment with full US Navy military honors will be at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Friday, February 24th at 1:30 PM. Friends are invited to gather on Friday, February 24th from 11 AM to 1 PM at Feeney Funeral Home for procession to the cemetery which will leave promptly at 1 PM.
