Kenneth E. Poeller, 83, of Wyomissing, passed away, unexpectedly, at home on December 23, 2020.
Kenneth was born in Ransomville, NY on August 4, 1937, a son of the late Ida (Pieperhagen) and Edward Poeller.
He was the devoted husband of Vivian Bernice (Flannery) Poeller, who survives him. Both being avid Philadelphia Eagles fans.
He served in the National Guard for six years as an SP4.
Kenneth was a former truck driver and last worked in contracted services for Boscov's Department Stores.
In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by
a son, Dennis Poeller; partner Randy Levan, of Emmaus.
Three step-sons: Robert Lydon; husband of Kim (Gaul), of Oley. Kevin Lydon; partner of Renee Morris, of Douglassville. Kirk Lydon; partner of Carly Kruszewski, of Reading. A step-daughter Bernice Vivian (Lydon); wife of James Brightbill, of West Reading.
Kenneth is also survived by grandchildren: Beth Tanelli; partner of Eric Newnham. Douglass J. Holmes; partner Michael Fiorello. Seth Lydon, Lesley (Lydon); wife of Joe Sgroi. Jarad Lydon and wife, Jessica. Zach Lydon and wife, Sara. Jennifer Lydon, Michael and Anthony Lydon. Kenneth was blessed with 10 great grandchildren: Matthew, Bella, Jason, Ava, Mia, Jayden, Anikyn, Camryn, Luca, and Leo.
He was predeceased by a step-daughter Cheryl A. Holmes (survived by Douglass S. Holmes), a step- son Craig M. Lydon ( survived by Jill Lydon), and a step-grand-son-in-law, Nick Tanelli.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
