James O. Johnson Obituary

James O. Johnson, age 71 years, of Reading, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21st. He was a simple, but classy man who adored his wife Cordie of 40 years.

He was passionate about people, jazz music and any opportunity that took him on the open road. He was greatly loved by his family at Boscov's Travel, where he was employed for over 20 years. James will be miss by his family and friends far and wide. His favorite chair will be filled by his fur family, Dupont and Poscha.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July, 2nd at 10:30 AM at Hope of the Nations Church, 134 N. 5th St., Reading. Following the service a catered lunch will be provided, compliments of Peter Lakin and family, at the church.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 4th St., Santa Monica, CA 90401.  

Arrangements entrusted to the John P. Feeney Funeral Home, in Reading's Centre Park Historic District, 625 N. 4th St. at Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601.
