Ethel B. Angstadt, age 79 years, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, June 8th, at the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton.
Ethel was born in Oley, on October 27, 1936, a daughter of the late Esther (Bush) Fick and Oscar O. Fick, Sr. and was the widow of Harold Angstadt, who passed away in 1999.
She was a 1955 graduate of Mt. Penn High School and was a passionate insurance agent at Snyder Insurance for 38 years retiring in June of 2015. She was a member of Zion Spies Lutheran Church, Mt. Penn.
Ethel is survived by her son, Brian, husband of Brenda Angstadt, of Sinking Spring, two sisters, Shirley, wife of Claude Snyder, of Reading and Linda, wife of Alan Feltner, of Reading. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jeremy and Amanda Angstadt and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Noll and brother, Oscar O. Fick, Jr.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
