David P. Senft, 73, of Tilden Township , passed away at 7 PM, Friday, September 16th, peacefully, at his residence surrounded by family members.


The husband of Linda L (Hartman) Senft, David was born in Tilden Township, PA on September 13, 1943, a son of the late Helen (Baighkley) and Paul J. Senft.


He graduated from Perry High School in Shoemakersville, class of 1961 and served in the U.S. Coast Guard in the Vietnam Era. David later worked as a Machine Operator at Power Packing for 13 years. He also worked as a supervisor at Birch Hill Foundry in Shoemakersville for 18 years. He loved hunting and fishing and while in the Jaycee's he taught BB gun safety classes. 


David is survived by  his wife, Linda, and 2 daughters, Kimberly J.E. Kissinger, of Tilden Twp.; and  Heather R. Sites, of Tilden Twp, and 4 siblings, sisters Donna Bechtel, of Oley, PA; and Paula Brensinger, of Auburn, PA; and 2 brothers William and Kenny Senft, both of Tilden Twp. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren


Services are private at the convenience of family.
