Catharine A.(Bond) Weller
Catharine A. Weller, 89, passed away Friday, October 5th at St. Joseph medical Center.
The widow of Robert C. Weller who passed away December 19, 2001, Catharine was born in West Leesport, PA on April 23, 1929, a daughter of the late Edna (Witwer) and John A. Bond.
She was a 1947 graduate of Reading High School and was employed for 20 years Western Electric Reading, PA, retiring in 1980.
Kitty is survived by a son Thomas B. Weller and 2 daughters, Jo C. wife of Robert Ashman and Jill S. wife of Oliver Simon, 7 grandchildren Carmen Wright, Aaron Ashman (wife Pamela), Dr. Seth Ashman (wife Ellen), Jessica Simon, Robert Tyrrell (wife Kelly), Amy Tyrrell, Luke Weller. Also 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and 3 brothers Richard, James and Harold Bond, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Elizabeth Kalbach, Josephine Hartman and Nancy Killian and 5 brothers, Robert, Lewis, John, Donald and George Bond.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be on Saturday, October 13th from 11 Am until 12 Noon, with a religious service at 12 Noon at John P. Feeney Funeral Home. Interment with her husband will take place at Indiantown Gap National cemetery in Annville, PA.
