Theresa (Futej) Clay
Theresa Clay, 89, of Reading, passed away Sunday, May 2nd, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Theresa was born in Reading, PA on June 18, 1931, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Pieja) and Andrew Futej.
She was the widow of Lawrence H. Clay who died January 10, 2021.
Theresa was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church West Reading and worked as a Seamstress.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Shunk, of Wyomissing; Patricia Remp, of Allentown; Salvalyne Barrett, of Sinking Spring; and three sons Glenn Chille, husband of Kim Chille, of North Carolina; Robert Chille, husband of Patricia Chille, of Lewes Delaware; Salvatore Chille, Jr., husband of Katherine Chille of Mansfield; PA.
Theresa is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Lamonik , of Reading and a brother, Robert Futej of West Lawn, PA..
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
A duel encryptment of both Theresa and her previously deceased husband, Lawrence, will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA on Thursday, May 20th at 12:30 PM. Funeral procession will leave funeral home promptly at 11 AM.
