William Terenchin Obituary
William P. Terenchin, 88, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, December 16th, at his residence.
William was born in Reading on July 3, 1937, a son of the late Catherine (Terefenko) and William Terenchin and was the husband of 58 years of Suzanne E. (Petruska) Terenchin, of Reading.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a A1C E-4 from 1957 to 1961, serving in Japan and Germany. He worked as a Department Supervisor at the former Polymer Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 1997.
William was a member of American Legion Post #12, Reading Berks Rose Society, Daniel Boone Coin Club and Northend Rod and Gun Club.
William is survived by his two sons, Patrick A. Terenchin, husband of David Ludwig, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Alexander W. Terenchin, husband of Elizabeth (Pappas), of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister, Cheryl Terenchin, of Kenhorst; nephew, Daryl Fatula and nieces, Susan Fatula and Dr. Kathleen Petruska. He was predeceased by his sister, Sonja Fatula.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508 or at berksarl.org.
