Ammon C. Pauley, Sr., 90, of Reading,passed away Monday, December 15th, at Tower Health Reading Hospital, West Reading.
Ammon was born in Reading on August 20, 1935, a son of the late Esther (Davis) and Charles Pauley and was the husband of Shirley Jane (Killoran) Pauley, who survives him.
He was a graduate of Reading High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He worked as a roofer for the Roofers Union #30, Philadelphia.
In addition to hie wife, Shirley, Ammon is survived by his son, Jack Pauley, Sr. of Reading; two sisters, Cary, wife of Bud Brown, of Reading; Gerry Care, of Reading. four brothers, David Pauley, husband of Judy, of Reading; Norman Pauley, of Reading; Robert Pauley, husband of Linda, of Reading; Charles Pauley, husband of Barbara, of Reading and ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sons, Ammon C. Pauley, Jr. and James Pauley, brothers, Marcellus Pauley and Jack Kepley and his granddaughter.
Viewing will be Thursday, December 18th from 10 AM to 11 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Religious service will follow at 11 AM, with Pastor Gary Rarick, officiating Interment at St. John's Gernant's Church Cemetery, Leesport.
