William G. "Bill" Shurr, Jr. Obituary

WIlliam G. "Bill" Shurr, Jr., 87, of Wernersville, passed away Friday, July 22nd, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading. Bill was born in Reading on December 7, 1934, a son of the late Helen A. Freeman and William G. Shurr, Sr. The husband of Ellen G. (Ruhf) Shurr, he served in the U.S. Army as a PFC and also served in the U.S. Air Force as a AiC.. He later worked as a Printer at Grafica Printing, Reading and at Offset Printing. In addition to his wife, Ellen, William is also survived by  a brother, Dale J. Shurr, of Reading  and  one grandson, Derek A. Chandler, Wernersville. Services and Military Honor Salute will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on August 16th at 2:30 PM.  Funeral procession will leave funeral home at exactly 1 PM for procession to the cemetery.
