Mark N. Pellicciotti, 59, of Reading, passed away Sunday, July 24th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Mark was born in Reading on December 2, 1962, a son of Suzanne Templin, of Birdsboro and the late Nelson Pellicciotti.
He served in the U.S. Marines from 1980 to 1985 and was owner of M & G Security. He was previously a Sergeant with both the Birdsboro Police Department and the Berks County Sheriffs Department. He also worked for Reading Hospital Security. He was a member of Park Road Presbyterian Church, Wyomissing, Past Commander of Birdsboro American Legion Post 626 and Member of and Past Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge No. 479, Birdsboro and Teutonia Masonic Lodge 367. He was also a member of the Berks County Fraternal Order of Police.
Mark is survived by his two daughters, Gabrielle M. Pellicciotti, of Morgantown and Madalyn M. Pellicciotti, of Scranton; three sisters, Lynn Pellicciotti, of Bern Twp.; Cindy Pellicciotti, of Birdsboro; Sharon, wife of David Levengood, of Birdsboro.
Funeral services will be held privately for family. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 27th at the Reading Liederkranz. Parking will open at 3:30pm and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Grove will be open until 8 pm.
