William Forte Obituary

William Forte, 89, of Leesport, passed away Wednesday, January 19th, at Geno Merli Veterans Center, Scranton. 
William was born in West Reading on February 22, 1932, a son of the late Aquiline (Angelilli) and Pasquale Forte and was the widower of Mary (Gehringer) Forte.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a SSG in the Korean War and worked as a Rolling Mill Operator at Brush Wellman until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
William is survived by his daughter, Pamela Rentschler, of Leesport and two granddaughters, Megan and Hilary Rentschler. He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Forte.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508 or at www.berksarl.org/donate
