William R. Clark


William R. Clark, age 90, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, September 25th, at Berkshire Center, Exeter Township. 

William was born in Reading on September 20, 1928, a son of the late Bertha (Saab) and Clarence Clark.

He was the husband of 54 years of Anna Mae (Blatt) Clark, of Exeter Township. 

He was a member of Epler's United Church of Christ, Leesport, where he and 

Anna were married on April 25, 1964.

A graduate of Reading High School, hr served in the U.S. Navy, stationed on the USS Missouri, in the Korean War. William was employed in the computer room at GPU, Reading and also worked at Clark Equipment, Reading. In his spare time he was an avid golfer. 

William is survived by his nieces; Janice (Thompson) Washington, of Reading, Joyce (Thompson) Beckett, of Reading and extended family. He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Ann (Saab) Thompson and Marge (Clark) Regulski.

Graveside services will be Monday, October 1st at 11 AM at Epler's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Leesport with Pastor Gary Rarick officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 968 Postal Road Suite 110, Allentown, PA 18109.
