Thomas J. Lawlor, 78, of Shillington, passed away Friday, January 28th, at his residence. Thomas was born in Reading, PA on October 26, 1943, a son of the late Margaret T (Boas) and Joseph A, Lawlor.
He was a former member of St. Joseph RC Church and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961.
Thomas served 6 years in the U.S. Navy in the Mediterranean Theatre of operations. He worked as a Programmer and Instructor at IBM Reading, PA. He also taught Computer Services at Pottsville Hospital.
Thomas is survived by one daughter, 5 sons, and 11 grandchildren. Thomas is also survived by a sister, Margaret Lawlor, of Reading, PA, and a brother, Michael G. Lawlor, husband of Barbara Lawlor, of Jacksonville, Fl. He was predeceased by 2 siblings Patricia M. Gregonis, Joseph F. Lawlor.
