Thomas Blackwell Obituary


Thomas J. Blackwell, age 51 years, of Mahanoy City, passed away Friday, January 8th, at his residence.

Thomas was born in Pottsville on June 5, 1964, a son of the late Rita (Navakas) and Joseph Blackwell.


He served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army and worked as a mechanic at Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville. He is survived by his sister, Esther Mahmod, of Mahonoy City; sister, Phyliss Harper, of Cumbola; sister, Cyria Hart, of Ellengowan; and brother, Jeffrey Blackwell, of Shoemakers.


Thomas is also survived by Godson, Mark Thomas Mahmod, and nieces and nephews.


Services and interment will be Thursday, January 28th, at 12:30 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.


Arrangements entrusted to the John P. Feeney Funeral Home, in Reading's Centre Park Historic District, 625 N. 4th St. at Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601.
