Susan P. (Heinly) Tomlinson
Susan P. Tomlinson, 64, of Mt. Penn, PA, passed away at 10:22 AM, Monday, July 25th, peacefully, at her residence. .
The wife of Richard T. Tomlinson, who survives her, Susan was born in Reading, on March 24, 1952, a daughter of the late Pauletta (Dennis) and Carroll Heinly.
A graduate of Holy Name High School, class of 1970, she was a member of St. Catharine of Sienna RC Church Mt. Penn, PA and worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Rite Aide for 12 years retiring in 2003. She was an avid fan of Note Dame Football.
In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by 3 sons,
Michael C. Tomlinson, husband of Mandy Tomlinson, of Reading;
Matthew R. Tomlinson, husband of Gina Tomlinson, of Hamilton, NJ;
Eric S. Tomlinson, husband of Jenny Tomlinson, of Reading;
and a brother Christopher Heinly.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; David, Alex, Matthew, Chloe, Eva, Hailey and Emily Tomlinson. She was predeceased by 2 siblings, a sister Linda Goodman and a brother Michael Heinly,
Friends are invited to call Wednesday 6 to 8 PM. at John P. Feeney Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday 9:30 to 10 AM. at St. Catharine of Sienna RC Church Chapel 2330 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Catharine of Sienna Chapel at 10 AM on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St Jude's Children's Home P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park Mt. Penn, PA.
