Salvatore J. Vallone, 74, of Sinking Spring passed away Sunday, May 23rd, at his residence.
Salvatore was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 15, 1946, a son of the late Jacqualine (Salemi) and Salvatore J. Vallone and was the husband of Susan J. (Holub) Vallone, of Sinking Spring.
He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church West Lawn and served in the U.S. Army for 20 years retiring as a Master Sgt. He worked as an IT Specialist at Agere, IBM and Lucent Technologies Allentown, before retiring in 2006. He also was owner and operator with his wife Susan of Vallone Child Care Center, Sinking Spring.
Salvatore is survived by four daughters, Carla O. Raimo, of Reading; Victoria M., wife of Michael Thiemann, of Erie; Justine T., wife of Mark Phillipine, of Sinking Spring; Tiffany M., wife of Todd Grim, of Sinking Spring; three sons, Salvatore J. Vallone III, of San Antonio, TX; Brandon M., husband of Stefanie Vallone, of Sinking Spring; Jason M., husband of Dalin Vallone, of Sinking Spring; brother, Philip Vallone, of Louisville, KY and sister Josephine, wife of Harry Engel, of Bethlehem. He is also survived by grandchildren, Dagan Vallone, Sage Angelisanti, Alex Angelisanti, Kaylee Grim, Tiana Raimo, Adin Thiemann, Zackerry Grim, Nicholas Thiemann, Alyssa Grim, Anna Phillipine, Jayden Raimo, Lucy Phillipine, Maggie Thiemann, Sofia Vallone, Devon Raimo, Jaxon Vallone and Brooklyn Vallone on the way. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Vallone and sister in law Madeline Vallone.
Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday May 27th from 9 to 10 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church in West Lawn. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Family requests those attending to wear jeans with a white or blue shirt and to please wear a mask to service. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church 2810 St. Albans Drive West Lawn, PA 19609.
