Robert Lee Adam, Sr., 73, of Kutztown, passed away Sunday, March 14th, at his residence.
Robert was born in Reading, PA on December 6, 1947, a son of the late Mary (Kauffman) and Irwin C. Adam. He was the husband of Mildred S. (Fink) Adam. They were married for 46 years.
After graduating in 1965 from Fleetwood High School, he then enlisted and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star among other medals.
Robert was employed in the Industrial Building at East Penn Manufacturing Fleetwood, PA for 21 years, retiring in 2013. He also worked for Caloric Corporation for 19 1/2 years.
In addition to his wife, Mildred, Robert is survived by two daughters, Lori A., wife of Todd Fenstermaker, of Shoemakersville, PA; and Dennille L., wife of Mark Murphy, of Virginia Beach, VA; along with two sons Carl J. Penrose, husband of Donna L. (Tolland) Penrose, of Reading, PA; and Robert L. Adam, Jr., husband of Lynne (Evanego) Adam of Bethlehem, PA.
Robert is also survived by two sisters, Diana, wife of Ricky Reber, of Fleetwood, PA; Deborah, wife of Fred Yob, of Fleetwood, PA and a brother, Kenneth Adam, husband of Nancy Adam, of Leesport, PA; and by 9 grandchildren: Brandon, Dustin, Jason, Justin, Jenna, Jessica, Marquis, Kasandra, Adam and 8 great grandchildren.
The Military funeral and casketed burial will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
A viewing will be held from 10am to 11am Thursday, March 18th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home promptly at 11 am following the viewing.

A Celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date due to COVID.
