Peggy L. Jacobs, 85, of Shillington, passed away Saturday, April 10th, at Mifflin Center, Cumru Twp. Peggy was born in Reading on November 25, 1935, a daughter of the late Catherine (Reber) and John A. Shenk. She was the widow of John William Jacobs, they were married for 60 years. Peggy was a graduate of Mt Penn High School class of 1952. The family would like to show it's appreciation to Genesis Mifflin Center Coordinator Kendall and her staff, also the Compassus Hospice nurses, chaplain and social workers for their awesome and loving service to our mother. Peggy is survived by a daughter, Krista A., wife of Jerry Greenwalt, of Laureldale; and four sons, James M. Jacobs, husband of Shery, of Shoemakersville; Randall A. Jacobs, husband of Robin, of Newmanstown; Robert W. Jacobs, of Laureldale and  David L. Jacobs, husband of Brenda, of Leesport. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday April 17th from 11 AM to 12 PM at Feeney Funeral Home. Religious service will follow at 12 PM. Interment will be at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
