Paul S. Pinchak, 74, of Womelsdorf, passed away Sunday, June 25th, at his residence.
Paul was born in Paterson, NJ on October 22, 1948, a son of the late Florence (Rosenblatt) and Albert Pinchak.
He was a graduate of Eastside High School in Paterson, NJ and a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. and M.B.A degrees.
He served in the U.S. Army as an SP4 from 1970 to 1972. Paul began his Property & Casualty career at Safeco Insurance in 1973. He has held a wide range of senior management positions overseeing Underwriting, Product Management, and Pricing functions at Middlesex Mutual Assurance, American Modern Insurance Group, and Prudential Property and Casualty. Retired since 2004, Paul has been a consultant both within, and outside, the Property and Casualty industry while developing and presenting various Continuing Education courses. He is also an active contributor to publications where he addresses relevant and timely topics designed to educate the insurance industry.
Paul is survived by his companion, Patricia A. Eggles, of Sinking Spring; two daughters, Lisa D., wife of Ted K. Lavender, of Robesonia; Jennifer L. Kuhn, companion of Jed Richardson, of Cumru Twp.; four grandchildren, Jack, Marie and Josh Lavender and Taylor Kuhn. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy and Joan. Paul loved his family, friends, cars, the insurance business and Costco.
Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, June 30th from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Memorial service and military honors will follow at 11 AM. A celebration of life will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM at Berks Fire Water Restorations, 1145 Commons Blvd., Reading, PA 19605. Interment is private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Veterans Making A Difference, 645 N. 6th St., Reading, PA 19601.
