Patricia A (Pierce) Rittenhouse
Patricia A Rittenhouse, 89, of Reading, passed away Thursday, May 3rd, at Chestnut Knoll Nursing Home in Boyertown, PA
Patricia was born in Reading, PA on June 30, 1928, a daughter of the late Ruth (Gehret) and Paul Pierce.
She graduated from Albright College, Drexel University and Franklin and Marshall University.
She wa employed as a Librarian at Franklin and Marshall and the US Army War College in Carlisle.PA.
A world traveler with her husband James Rittenhouse, she was a decendent of the Pierce Family which has an association with the Pierce building at Longwood Gardens.
She is a survived by 2 cousins Nancy Haines of Laureldale and Anne Gehret of Downingtown,. along with many second Cousins. She was predeceased by two cousin LaRue Grim of Kutztown earlier this year and Cathryn Grim of Temple..
A Graveside Services ill be held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 10th Forest Hills Memorial Park Mt. Penn, PA. Procession will gather at the cemetery entrance on West Neversink Road at 12:45 PM to process to graveside.
