Nelson E. Garcia, 57, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, January 20th, peacefully, at his residence.
Nelson was born in Brooklyn, NY, on August 11, 1958, a son of Aurora (DeLavega), of Reading, PA, and the late Nelson M. Garcia.
He graduated from John Jay High School in Brooklyn, NY, and worked various jobs, including working as a Car Salesman at Former Frank Simons Auto Sales.
Nelson is survived by his mother, Aurora; and his son, Derek B. Garcia, of Poconos, PA; 2 sisters, Barbara, wife of Hector Rios, of Reading, and Gina Garcia, of Kissimmee, Fl; and a brother, Osvaldo "Ozzy" Garcia, husband of Jinnette Garcia, of Reading.
Friends and relatives are invited to call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 12-1 p.m. at John P. Feeney Funeral Home. Religious Service at Feeney Funeral Home, Reading, PA, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27th. Interment at Charles Evans Cemetery Reading, PA.
