Grace Adams Obituary

Grace A. Adams, 93, of Fleetwood, went home to be with her savior Jesus Christ Thursday, July 1st, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. 

Grace was born in Hamburg on December 3, 1927, a daughter of the late Gertrude (Schaeffer) and Charles Heckman and was the widow of Harold J. Adams, who passed away in August 2014.

She played piano for church services at Villa St. Elizabeth and enjoyed baking cookies and pies and loved her family.

Grace is survived by two daughters, Bonita L., widow of David Zerbe, of Reading; Brenda G. Fitzinger-Mett, son, Steve L. Adams, of Fleetwood; grandson, Chad Zerbe and five other grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Ida Reppert and Amy Reppert.

Visitation will be Monday, July 12th from 10 to 11 AM at Feeney Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM at Charles Evans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Berks Christian School Scholarship Fund,926 Philadelphia Ave., Birdsboro, PA 19508.
