Mary M. Sheetz, 91, formerly of Bordic Road, passed away Saturday, February 20th, at Berks Heim Nursing Home, Bern Township.
Mary was born in Reading, PA on January 29, 1930, a daughter of the late Florence (Ganster) Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell. She was the widow of Thomas P. Sheetz, who died January 10, 2014. They were married for 59 years.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church Reading, PA 19602. and a graduate of St. Peter's High School (Reading Catholic) in 1948. She was an Office Worker at Pomeroy's Department store, and later worked at Catherine's Outgrown Shop.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Jana, wife of Michael Murray, of Shillington, PA, and Jeanie Maurer, of Wyomissing, PA; and a son, Thomas M. Sheetz, husband of Julie, of Mt Penn, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Nicole Maurer, Craig Maurer, Sutherland Sheetz, Mackenzie Ouellette, Matthew Taft, Lillie Taft, Crystal Geissler, Angie Farr, and great grandchildren: Felicia Hummel, Megan Geissler, Clara Sheetz, Mabel Ouellette, Matilda Ouellette, Carson Sheetz, and Eden Matos. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held when the weather becomes nicer at St Peter's Cemetery.
