Mary R. (Stubblebine) Borst, 101, Formerly of Reading, passed away Monday, January 30th, at Berks Heim Nursing Home, Bern Township. Mary was born in Reading, PA on December 11, 1915, a daughter of the late Anna (Fricker) and George E. Stubblebine. She was the widow of Charles A. Borst, Jr. who predeceased her in 1983.
She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church West Lawn, PA 19609. She was the past president of the Holy Family Society at St. Paul's RC Church in Reading where she was a member before transferring to St. Ignatius.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann, Widow of Joseph Jacisin, of Hackettstown, NJ., and two sons Charles A. Borst, III, Husband of Marguerite, of West Lawn, PA; Joseph G, Borst, widower of Susan, of Malvern, PA. She was predeceased by a daughter Virginia Impink. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren
Friends are invited to call 9 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 4th at St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church in West Lawn, PA . followed by interment at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 4th at Gethsemane Chapel of the Resurrection in Laureldale, PA
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 4th at St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church in West Lawn, PA . Interment follows in Gethsemane Cemetery
