Mary N. Rathman Obituary

Mary N. (Devine) Rathman, 88, of Reading, passed away Monday, November 29th, at St. Joseph Medical Center. 
Mary was born in Reading, PA on October 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Anne (Eline) and Edward Devine.
She was the widow of Gerald E. Rathman and a member of St. Joseph RC Church Reading, PA 19604. 
Mary graduated from Central Catholic, class of 1951 and later served as a Secretary at Lucent Technologies. She was a member of the Mother's Club of Central Catholic High School, and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Karen L., wife of Stephen Stancick, of Florida; and three sons James R. Rathman, of Reading; Scott A., husband of Ginny Rathman, of Exeter Township, and Richard E. Rathman, of Reading. 
Mary is also survived by three sisters, Anne, wife of Bill Smith, of Reading; Margaret Devine, of Reading; Ellen, wife of Bill Engler, of Wyomissing; and a brother, Michael, husband of Beverly Devine, of New Jersey. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and was predeceased by a brother Larry Devine.
Public Viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 on Tuesday, December 7th at St. Joseph RC Church in Reading, PA 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 7th at St. Joseph RC Church in Reading, PA with Msgr Grabish officiating.
Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery Muhlenberg Township..
