Kim H. Bates, 59, of Reading, passed away Friday, September 3rd, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. Kim was born in Reading on May 13, 1962, a daughter of the late Irma and Vincent Huff. She was the wife of 30 years of Chester R. Bates, they were married at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, Reading. She worked as a Deli Assistant at Giant for 30 years until her passing. Kim is survived by her son, Christopher J. Grillo, of Reading;  sister, Vickie Kiszczak, of Reading; and brothers, Vincent Huff of Newmanstown and James Huff, of Reading. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren. A casketed graveside service will be Monday, September 13th at 1 PM at Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements entrusted to John P.
