Eagle Scout

Kevin M. Heck, 39, of Pennside, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 12th, at his residence. Kevin was born in Reading, PA on July 30, was 1978, a son of Sharon A. (Puwalski) and Alvin J. Heck.

He was employed as a Superintendent at New Enterprise Evansville Plant for 18 years, last working on Monday. 

He was an Eagle Scout with St. Catharine's Troop 358 and a life member of the NRA. He graduated from Exeter High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two uncles: Richard Puwalski, husband of Donna, of Exeter Township, and Dennis Heck of Florida, and three aunts: Diane Heck of Wernersville, Loretta, wife of Robert Henry, formerly of the Bernville area and now living in Florida, and LuAnn Fisher of Reinholds. 

He was predeceased by an uncle Donald Heck in 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, June 16th at St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. 

Friends are invited to call at the church from 9 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his name to St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. Encryptment follows in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum of St George, Laureldale, PA.
