Kathleen Mary Newkirk (Miller), 84, of Kenhorst passed away peacefully at her home into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Kathleen was married to George W. Newkirk III, who preceded her in death in 1986. Kathleen was born in Reading in 1936 a daughter to the late Calvin and Dorothy (Bush) Miller. She is survived by two brothers, Jerry Miller widower of Monica, of Reading, and Dennis Miller husband of Judy, of West Chester, and a brother Kenneth Miller who preceded her in death. She has six surviving children, starting with Richard Garipoli, Jr., husband of Irene, of Lititz, Michael Garipoli, husband of Janice, of Bern Twp, Anthony Garipoli, husband of Donna, of Lower Alsace, daughter Cynthia Keiser companion of Kevin Frymoyer, of Laureldale, Norman Garipoli, husband of Denise, of Brecknock Twp, and Joseph Garipoli whom she resided with, of Kenhorst.
Kathleen has 8 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren whom she loved to spend time with, especially on holidays. She could cook up a storm for the holidays and was known for her Christmas cookies. Her last working position was Secretary in the Borough of Kenhorst. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Kathleen loved spending time camping with her family and just enjoyed family times. She attended Grace Lutheran Church, Reading. She will be deeply missed.
