A widower of Sarah Ann (Krout) Ludwig who passed away February 3, 2003, Joseph was born in Philadelphia to parents, Charles Frances Ludwig & Annie Irene (Miller) Ludwig
He retired from St Joseph Medical Center on January 1999 after 22 years in the security department
A veteran of the US Marine Corp during the Korean War, was also a lifetime member of the Berks County Fireman’s Relief as well as the American Legion
Joseph is survived by two daughters: Gina Lynn (Constantine) Becker (deceased)and Sally Jo (Ludwig) Hotzman Married to Michael Hotzman of Shillington. Two sons: Joseph Sohl married to Deborah (Stoudt) Sohl of Muhlenberg and Joseph Shane Constantine of Reading. Two grandchildren: Christopher M Hotzman and Shane A Hotzman.
Also survived by three brothers: Charles Ludwig of Sinking Spring (deceased), Zenith Ludwig (deceased) of Wernersville and James Ludwig of Wernersville. Two sisters: Linda Bohn of Spring Township and Betty Jean Bradley of Reading.
Services will be held at John Feeney Funeral Home, 625 N 4th Street, Reading PA 19601.
Burial will be at St John Gernants Cemetery in Leesport.
A memorial gathering will be held 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, February 17th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading. A religious service will be held at to 7:30 PM. Interment at St. John's Gernant's Church Cemetery, Leesport.
