John P. Roslin of Reading PA passed away at his Prospectus Berco group home on Tuesday, January 12 while under hospice care. He was 69 years old. John was the son of the late John J. Roslin Jr. and the late Irene V. Roslin. He is survived by a brother, Michael T. Roslin. John, better known as ‘Johnny’ to his family will be sadly missed by family and friends. He worked for years as a client at Threshold Rehabilitation Services and later worked for many years at Prospectus Berco despite a lifelong battle with epilepsy. He enjoyed going to work and was well liked and had many friends. Johnny liked sports and in his younger years, Johnny competed in the Special Olympics and was proud of the many award ribbons he earned in local competitions. He enjoyed Saturday bowling outings with his friends. He loved all kinds of music especially country music and enjoyed singing along to his favorite songs including Christmas carols during the Holidays. He was living in a Prospectus Berco group home in his later years where he formed close relationships with clients and staff members in a nurturing and caring environment. Johnny was a wonderful son, older brother and friend.
