Howard R. Oulds, 91, of Wyomissing, passed away Wednesday, June 6th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, while in the company of family members.
The husband of Nancy (Heckman) Oulds, who survives him, they were married 66 years. Howard was born in Reading, PA on July 30, 1926, a son of the late Anna (Collis) and Howard W Oulds.
Howard graduated from Fleetwood High School, class of 1944 after which he entered military service in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He served as a reporter at the Nuremburg War Crimes Trial in WW II.
He graduated from Rider University in 1950 with a degree in Accounting. He was later employed as a Senior Cost Accountant at Car Tech Reading, PA, working for 42 Years and retired in 1992.
In addition to his wife Nancy, Howard is survived by a son Mark A Oulds, husband of Penny, of Mertztown, PA, a sister, Jeannette Calabria wife of Kevin Calabria, of Cumru Twp, PA. and a brother, Richard T Oulds, of Kenhorst, PA; He was predeceased by a son Jeffrey H Oulds in 2018 and his wife Jane Oulds in 2010. Howard is also survived by 4 grandchildren Victoria, wife of Lawrence Lyons of Silver Spring Md, Phillip, Casey and Hattie Oulds.
Graveside Services and Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park Mt. Penn, PA. on Tuesday, June 19th at 11;00 AM. Friends can gather at Feeney Funeral Home at 10 AM. Procession will leave for Cemetery at 10:30 AM
