Haydee Acevedo, 61, of Reading, passed away Friday, November 24th, at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading. 

Haydee was born in Manhattan, NY on April 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Damelis (Gonzalez) and Lope Acevedo.

She earned an Asssociates Degree at RACC in Psychology and worked as a social worker for the County of Berks, retiring in 2006

Haydee is survived by a daughter, Rachel Maldanado, of Mt. Penn, PA; and two sons Jose, Fiancee of Samantha Martell Rivera, of Tampa, Florida and Ricardo Rivera, of Reading; She is also survived by a sister, Nereida Acevedo, of Reading; and two brothers, Luis F. Sanchez, of Reading, PA; Gustavo Santiago, of Reading, PA. along with 10 grandchildren

She was predeceased by a son Rafael Morales in 2017 and a brother Orlando Acevedo in 2017.

A Religious Service will be held at a later time .
