Harry C. Hill, 70, of Mt. Penn, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30th at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
Born in Reading, on August 27, /1948, he was a son of Dolores ("Dolly') M. (Spracklin), of Mt. Penn, PA and the late Raymond C. Hill.
In 1963, Harry won the Dramatics Award at North East Junior High School, Reading. He graduated from Reading High School in 1966, obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Speech Theatre at Kutztown University and a Master's degree in Theatre in Houston, TX.
Afterwards he moved to Laguna Hills, Calif., where he worked at Lion Country Safari. Later he moved to New Orleans where he became a Wine Cellar Master (sommelier), working at the reknowned Brennan's Restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana for 30+ years. He returned to Reading in 2013.
Harry is survived by his mother, Dolores, and a brother, Rodney J., husband of Wanda J. Gordon-Hill, of Reading, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and an uncle Richard Spracklin, widow of Eleanor, of Reading, PA.
