Harold Ebling Obituary

Harold (Skip) Ebling, 92, formerly of Whitfield, passed away on February 14, 2021, at his current residence at Keystone Villa, surrounded by his loving family.
Skip was the son of Mamie and John Eisenhower, and Oliver Ebling. He was a graduate of Mt. Union High School. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet, on January 13, 2020, after 66 years of marriage. He was also predeceased by his son, Duane K. Ebling, who died in 2004. He is survived by son, Todd A. Ebling, of Sinking Spring, and his wife, Beth, and daughter Barbara (Ebling) Cubbler and her husband, Roy, of Glen Rock, PA.
Other survivors include six grandchildren: Jessica Ebling, Brian Ebling and his wife, Lucy; Heather (Ebling) Wanner and her husband, Jeffrey; Kevin, Eric and Taylor Cubbler; and three great-grandchildren, Cashton, Silas, and Mckenzie.
In addition to being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, Skip was an accomplished wood carver specializing in horses, carousels, and walking canes. He was also very involved in dog training and started the therapy dog program in Berks County. Skip loved spending time with his family.
Skip was an Arco Pipeline Supervisor at the Montello terminal in Sinking Spring. He was an Army Air Force veteran serving in the 91st recon squadron. 
The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by Keystone Villa and AseraCare.
There will be a private ceremony at Fort Indiantown Gap for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Skip’s name.
