Gordon van Horn Obituary

Gordon van Horn, 89, of Flying Hills, Berks County, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Lebanon Veterans Administration Hospice Center after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Gordon was predeceased by his wife Claudia (Ovens) who he was married to for 42 years.


Born in Scranton, Gordon was the son of the late Sterling Weber van Horn and Beulah (Erhardt). Gordon retired from Capitol/EMI Records in 1990 after 35 years where he was National Distribution Manager. Gordon was a veteran who served in the Army Corp of Engineers.


A private funeral will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers we invite you to donate to the American Cancer Society. 
Gordon is survived by his son Scott G., daughter in-law Diane, granddaughter Maya (of Madison, NJ), daughter Jori J. and granddaughter Reagan (of Flying Hills, PA). 
Services are private.
