Gerald F. Robertson, Jr.
Gerald F. Robertson, Jr., 82, of Wyomissing, passed away Friday, May 14th, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading.
Gerald was born in Reading, PA on September 30, 1938, a son of the late Elinor (Buttery) and Gerald F. Robertson, Sr.
He was the husband of Deira E. (Garrett) Robertson, who survives him.
Gerald served in the Navy and was later employed as a boiler maker with Wertz Engineering for over 30 years and later for Blanski Inc., retiring in 1993.
He was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, and the Pikeville Sportsman Club.
In addition to his wife, Deira, he is survived by 2 daughters, Patti A. Swoyer, wife of Arch of Fleetwood and Susan M. Kauffman, wife of Eric of Wyomissing. and 4 grandchildren, Austin and Ethan Swoyer, Madison and Sam Kauffman.
He is also survived by 2 siblings, a brother Dennis Robertson of Reading and a sister Kathleen Riordan, wife of Danny of North Carolina. He was predeceased by a brother Leslie Robertson.
A Memorial gathering will be held at 9 AM to 10 AM on Tuesday, May 25th with memorial service at 10 AM at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA.
