George Pfeifer Obituary

George B. Pfeifer, 96, of Reading, PA passed away Saturday, July 5th, at Celebration Villa, Exeter Township.

George was born in Reading, PA on October 29, 1928, a son of the late Florence E (Conner) Schleifenheimer and George J Pfeifer. He was the widower of Doris S (Steltz) Pfeifer who died in 2015.

He was a former member of 1st UCC Church of Christ, Reading, PA, and was a hard worker who always took care of his family. He was also a Little League Coach for many years.

He worked as a Lab Manager at RM Palmer Candy Company West Reading PA, retiring in 1998.

George is survived by three daughters, Bonnie G, wife of Russell Gillespie, of San Antonio, TX; Becky S, wife of Scott Jones, of San Antonio, TX; Lisa M Sanita, of Flying Hills; and two sons Michael G Pfeifer, husband of Vicky, of Colony Park; and Rory B Pfeifer, husband of JoAnn of Ephrata, PA; . 

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Janel, Justin, Jordan, Tyler, Seth, Cory, Caitlin and Dylan. also 5 great grandchildren: Scarlett, Boden, Chase, Charlie and Owen.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelsey L. Jones and his sister, Florence Browning.

Services are private at the convenience of family. .
