Frederick A. Sadler, 88, of Wyomissing, PA, passed away Friday, March 10th, at the Mifflin Center, Cumru Twp.
The husband of Florence (Vasile) Sadler, who survived him, Frederick was born in Upton, MA on April 17, 1928, a son of the late Grace (Wier) and Henry Sadler.
He graduated from Grafton High School in Grafton, MA and served in the U.S. Army Infantry as a Cpl in the Korean War. and was a member of St. Margaret's RC Church Reading, PA.
Frederick was employed as a Millright Mechanic at Grace Mines - Bethlehem Steel Morgantown, PA., for 28 years. He also worked for Lucent Technology in Reading, PA for 10 years, retiring in 1994. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and was once a volunteer firefighter in Morgantown, PA.
Frederick is survived by his wife, Florence and three sons, Archie L. Sadler, husband of Patrice, of Fleetwood, PA; Bernard F. Sadler, companion of Mark McCall, of Reading, PA; and Dana A. Sadler, husband of Jennifer, of Westerly, RI.
He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Also a sister in law Hazel Sadler, widow of James Sadler of Upton, MA
Friends are invited to call Thursday 9 AM to 10 AM on Thursday, March 16th at Feeney Funeral Home in Reading, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 16th at St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church in Reading, PA . Interment with full military honors at indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA
