Eugene J. (Gene) Albrecht


Eugene J. (Gene) Albrecht, 74, of Reading, PA, passed away Monday, April 27th, at his residence. 


Eugene was born in Reading, PA on May 22, 1945, a son of the late Helen F. (Parznik) and Vincent Albrecht. He was the husband of Teresa Albrecht.



Eugene graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1963 and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam Era. He worked as a Ground Crewman at UGI Reading, Pa, and for the City of Reading for many years. He was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, Reading, PA. 


Eugene is survived by a son, Eugene James Albrecht, of California, a sister, Christina A. Amole, of Reading, PA, and two grandchildren: Darian Albrecht, California, and Mia Albrecht, Exeter Township. 


The family would also like to acknowledge Eugene's caretaker Valerie Glaze.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of your choice.


A Casketed Interment at.  St Mary's RC Cemetery on Thursday at 1 Am
