Eugen Chisca Obituary

On Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, Eugen Chisca, born October 9th, 1955, the man, the myth, the legend, has left this earth and joined his dearest wife, Filomona in Heaven. Eugen the man was an imperfect husband and father but loved his family with all he had even if sometimes he struggled to show it. During his career, he was a jack of all trades in the construction business working primarily as a painter and carpenter. Eugen the myth was strong as a bull with unparalleled grip strength that caused your hand to hurt until he welcomed you into his home with open arms gave you some “strong stuff” to help you forget while his wife prepared a feast to serve ten times the guests that were to arrive. Eugen the legend escaped communist Romania with his brother Traian, swimming across the Danube River in the summer of 1986 to claim political asylum in the United States where he successfully brought his family for a better life in the subsequent years.

Eugen will be missed though we know that his wife is glad to have him back. He is survived by his 9 grandchildren Caroline, Michelle, Marius, Eva, Novah, Talen, Steele, Rae, and Casen and his five children, Adam, Daniela and husband Aaron, Emily and husband Talen, Frank, and Monica and husband Kris as well as his three brothers Emil, Traian, and Adrian.
