Eileen Byerly Obituary

Eileen F. Byerly, 63, of West Lawn, passed away on Monday, July 29th, at her residence, in the company of family members.

Eileen was born in Reading, PA on June 26, 1961, a daughter of the late Jeanette F. (Ramsey) and Augustine A. Scalesi.

She was the wife of Richard E. Byerly who survives her. They were married for 37 years.

Eileen graduated from Holy Name High School in 1979 and worked as a Personal Service Representative at Tower Health for 18 years. 

In addition to her husband, Richard, Eileen is survived by a daughter, Stephanie M. Byerly, of West Lawn, PA; two sons, Sean M. Scalesi, husband of Leah, of Fleetwood, PA; and Christopher R. Byerly, husband of Allyson, of Slatington, PA.

Eileen is also survived by a sister, Lori A., wife of Jerold Leibensperger, of Maidencreek Township, and
a brother, Michael S, Scalesi, husband of Vickie, of Muhlenberg Township. Eileen was predeceased by a brother, Scott A. Scalesi, in 1966.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Carson J. Degler, Acelyn G. Hafer, Brodi A. Hafer, Gianna H. Scalesi, Alessia R. Scalesi and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday evening, August 1st, from 6-8 PM at Feeney Funeral Home. A Religious Service will be held at 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Heartland Hospice, 2201 Ridgewood Road #180, Wyomissing, Pa, 19610.
