Edmund John Sobczynski


Edmund John Sobczynski, 99, of New Holland, PA passed away at Saturday, February 19th, at Garden Spot Village in New Holland, Lancaster County. 


Edmund was born in Coatesville, PA on July 20, 1922, a son of Marie Constance (Zebrowski), of New Holland and the late John Stanley Sobczynski. He was the husband of Eleanor (Wydra) Sobcynski of New Holland, who survives him.


Edmund  served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre as a PFC. Later he  worked as a Office Operations at Veterans Administration Hospital Coatsville, PA., retiring in 1977. He earned an Associates Degree from Franklin and Marshall with post courses at Temple and Villanova.


per his request, his services are private at the convenience of family.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Veteran's Making a Difference 2412 Spring St West Lawn, PA 19609. 


Burial Services with full Military Honorswill be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA.
