Donna L. (Donmoyer) Livengood, 77, of Reading, PA passed away Friday, January 19th, at her daughter’s home in Hallam, PA surrounded by love.
Donna was born in Reading, PA on January 25, 1946, daughter of the late Virginia (Heffner) and James Donmoyer. Donna is survived by her daughter, Jillaine Livengood, and son-in-law Micah Running, of Hallam. She was predeceased by her son, Jeb Livengood in 2019.
Donna spent her high school years with friends playing at the Tully and working part time in a beauty shop. After graduating from Reading High School, she started her career with Feel Fine clothing, where she was a clothing buyer and model for some of their events. After having her children, Jeb and Jill, she spent most of her time being an amazing mother and role model, while also working part time jobs in many fields. She later retired from The Plumbing Works in 2012, after 13 years of work in their office.
Donna was a warm soul, and always prided herself on making everyone feel welcome and loved in her presence. She enjoyed hosting gatherings, dancing, and being with the people she loved as much as possible. She found joy in nature, and loved to take walks with her cherished dogs Barney and Sophie. She loved all animals, but particularly her dogs and cats, Tigger and Zoe. She took pride in caring for the stray cats in her neighborhood and always enjoyed feeding the ducks on her walks in the park.
Donna’s bright spirit and the light she shined on all of us were one of a kind, and will be dearly missed by so many.
Funeral services for Donna will be held at John P Feeney Funeral Home, 625 North 4th Street, Reading, PA 19601, on January 27, at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends can begin gathering at 12:00 noon.
